SnowBid privacy
TraderHand uses the information needed to operate SnowBid, verify access, process purchases and understand whether the service is useful.
Information we use
- Account: the email you enter, email verification codes, a secure sign-in session and the start and end of your trial.
- Purchase: Stripe handles checkout and payment details. We receive the purchase record and amount needed to grant season access and help with payment problems. We do not receive your full card number.
- Site use: essential session cookies and page-use information from Vercel Analytics. We use it to operate and improve SnowBid. It is not evidence that a particular contractor read or bid on an opportunity.
- Support: messages you send us and the information needed to answer them.
Campaign measurement
Outreach links contain a random identifier, not your email or a sign-in credential. We keep the link-to-recipient mapping privately to understand which outreach leads to use of SnowBid. If you follow one, first-party cookies remember the link and a random browser identifier for up to 30 days. We record browser visits and interactions separately from verified trial starts and confirmed purchases. Forwarded links, shared browsers and automated scanners can affect attribution; a visit is not proof that the intended recipient read the page.
The first campaign link present when your trial begins is attached to that trial and used to attribute confirmed purchases. Existing trials without attribution remain unattributed. These campaign records are held by TraderHand, separately from Vercel Analytics; the redirect removes the outreach identifier before loading analytics. We do not store raw IP addresses in campaign records. We retain campaign records while evaluating outreach and associated account records under the retention policy below. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control suppress new campaign measurement, or you can turn it off here. This does not delete records already collected.
How we use and share it
We use account data to send sign-in codes, prevent repeated trials, enforce access dates, and respond to support requests. Our hosting, database, email, analytics and payment providers process data needed to provide those functions. We do not sell your account email or payment data to contractors or procurement agencies. Public listings come from external agency sources; opening one of their links takes you to that site under its own privacy practices.
Retention and choices
We keep account, trial, purchase and support records while needed to provide access, resolve disputes and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. You can ask to access, correct or delete your account information by emailing [email protected]. We may need to retain transaction records where required by law. Signing out ends your current session; it does not reset the trial or delete purchase history.
